Channel Install Failed - Netflix & YouTube

My Netflix and Youtube apps disappeared from my Hisense RokuTv today and when I try to add the channels back it always says “Channel install failed, could not add”. I have unplugged it from the wall for 10 seconds, done a connection check, checked for system updates, restarted the system, and have done a factory reset. I’m not sure what else to do!

They resolved the issue on their side. Now this is what everyone has to do!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the posts. I'm sorry to hear about the experience—that's not what we aim for.

The issue has been resolved. Please perform the following steps on your Roku TV:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Go to System, then System update.
  3. Select Check now to resynchronize your channel line up.
Your channels should be restored. Some customers may need to log into individual channels again to authenticate. We thank you for your patience.

I am unable to add a channel. Everytime I try to add a channel it says that it was unable to be added.

I am trying to install Youtube, Netflix, and Amazon Music. How do I check what model I have?

You can find the model number of your device in Settings > System > About.

Netflix stopped work while I was watching it

While I was looking at a show on Netflix the app just crashed and took the Netflix app off tv . It also took off my YouTube tv app.. and now it’s not letting me reinstall neither app back onto tv

Yea me to and I got the Roku tv is something wrong with the servers?

I sure hope not because I am at college and need something to do besides school work while social distancing.

I am unable to re install Netflix it uninstalled itself an I can’t re install it
