Every time I pull up my NFL or TNT app on my TCL Roku TV, I get an error that reads “Sorry, but we were unable to authenticate your device and can’t continue”. The only option I’m given then is to close the app. I’ve tried every combination of deleting and reinstalling the apps and restarting my TV, and nothing has worked. I’m getting frustrated, and haven’t been able to fix this for months now.
Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
