Cannot add many different channels, no matter how I try
I have had my roku for about a week, but I cannot download MANY different channels which are paid TV apps.
What happens is simple. 1. Log into the website 2. browse or search for a channel (in these cases we will use FOOD NETWORK and Comedy Central) 3. Try and click "+ add channel" 4. Get immediately taken to my account settings screen and NOTHING downloads.
I do not get any messages like "this will add in the next while" or whatever message I was getting.
I cannot add these from my smartphone, or my roku as these channels DO NOT APPEAR when searched for at all on the smartphone or the roku.

If you can't see the channel when searching on the Roku, it's likely you are in an area (or the Roku thinks you are in an area) where the channel isn't available. So, where are you? State (if US) or country (if not US)?
Also, are you using a VPN?
