Cable Provider Sign-In Requirement?

Why is it that I must re-SignIn to my cable provider (Frontier Fios) nearly every time I launch a channel, or at least after I haven't viewed a particular channel for a few days? I thought the Roku player would store my cable provider sign-in credentials so I do not need to do not need to do this more than once??? I wind up needing to do this very often and it's very time consuming.
