BUG: Roku update broke YouTube app cast and queuing

The recent update may have broken YouTube app behaviour. This has changed within the last week.

Casting and queuing from iOS YouTube app to Roku now restarts the currently playing video.

Basically the casting and queuing function is now unusable.

Thanks for having a look, it was a great feature.

I'm seeing the same on Android QQ2A.200405.005 with Youtube 15.15.38

I'm seeing the same, when adding videos to my queue from my Android, it restarts the current video playing.

Excellent! Yes I confirm. I see an update April 21, but funny enough the versions have not changed. Roku sliding those bug fixes in ; ).

I've only ever reported 2 bugs to Roku before via forums and they were promptly fixed within 30 days, amazing. It's one reason I'm a loyal Roku user! Thanks.

Gang,

So I just ran into a similar issue on my Roku Ultra units w/ Google Pixel 3a devices (fully patched.) It seems that the issue started happening after a recent update (either to the ROKU or phones, I'm not sure which.) To resolve the issue, I did a 'force stop' on the Youtube app, and then cleared the cache on each phone. After I did this, the ROKU units both appeared in the 'Cast to' options from within Youtube app on the phones. Woot!

My ROKU Info:
Roku Premier+ (Wireless | Static IP) - HDMI (1080P)
Roku Premier+ (Wireless | Static IP) - HDMI (1080P)
TCL Roku TV (Wireless | Static IP) - HDMI (4k)
AT&T Internet (1024 Mbps / 1024 Mbps)
