Automatically going back to home screen

Everytime I start playing Nick Jr it returns to the home screen. I've tried everything you can think of to fix it like restarting it, reseting it, unplugging it, uninstalling it and installing it back again, etc. Nothing is working it keeps happening. Can anyone help?
