I have a Roku 4. AppleTV app is not available in the Channel selections area so when I go online to have it added off the ROKU web page, it fails to load onto my ROKU although it is on my online channel lineup. And yes, I have done a system update, restart and a hard reset and account reset.  Help!

Per the above Apple page, none of the Roku 4 models are on Apple's list of devices they programmed their app to run on.  You can add Apple TV to your Roku account via the Roku website, but it will only be available for download on the devices that can actually run it.

  • Roku Streaming Stick +, 3810X, Ser YH0059427035, wifi - Samsung UN55ES6100
  • Roku Streaming Stick, 3600X, Ser 5S56D8240827, wifi - JVC EM37T
  • TCL Roku TV 43S425/C107X, Ser X000001R60KV, wifi

Do you have any other Roku devices? Are any listed at the bottom of https://my.roku.com/ page?

If so, then the app will appear at https://channelstore.roku.com/ as at least one device supports it. Otherwise, if you're logged in to the Channel Store, only apps you can install are presented. At least, that's how it used to work.
