Re: Apple tv video not available

Same issue - this is definitely a ROKU issue.  I am unable to play any Apple TV streams.

Re: Apple tv video not available

Hi @Bill_L,

Thanks for reaching out to the Roku community!

I'd be happy to take a closer look to see how we can help get you up and running.

A few questions here to better understand what you're experiencing:
1. Are you using a Roku TV or a Roku device?
2. Does the issue only occur on Apple TV or all channels on your Roku device?
3. Are you receiving error messages or codes when accessing the channel?
4. What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the issue?
5. What are you seeing on screen? Can you provide a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing?
6. 5. How long has the issue been occurring?
With more information, we will be able to assist you further.

Best regards,
Mary

Mary - thank you

   - This only happens with Apple TV

3. Are you receiving error messages or codes when accessing the channel?

@Bill_L

Thanks for the follow up.

For clarification, when removing the channel, are you making sure to restart the Roku device before adding the channel back again, specifically in that order?

Please keep us posted and we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Danny

Re: Apple tv video not available

We have the same problem.  We are using a Roku Express.  No problem with  with Netflix, Hulu, HBO MAX, Prime.   Can watch some channels on Apple and not others.  Were able to watch The Morning Show and now cannot.  Have tried reinstalling Roku and Apple to no avail.  Tried different portals.  Been going on about 6 months.  Thanks for your help.  This is very frustrating.

Thanks for the post.

Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? What are the exact steps to reproduce the issue? When you removed the channel, did you make sure to restart the Roku device before adding the channel back, specifically in that order?

Re: Apple tv video not available

@dcdawn

Thanks for the post.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted what you find out.

Thanks,
Danny
