I get an error message saying internet not connected when playing Apple TV +
all other apps work fine but when I go to Apple TV the click to play a show it times out with the error message
why is that?
I have to use my old Apple TV in order to watch or buy a movie on it. The Roku ultra will not play Apple TV shows
Take that up with Apple. Try uninstalling and reinstalling channel.
I have done all that multiple times
I can access the Apple app but the programs will not load and play, instead I get errors messages saying unable to connect to internet

What Roku model device are you using?
Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to Apple TV directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the Apple TV channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.

I have the Roku Ultra (4800 series)
I am trying to use the Apple app
it opens but cannot watch the programs
it worked for a while but when I updated the firmware that allows Apple AirPlay, that is when I started getting the message
I have restarted and completely restored and all that but this has to do with the Apple app only
I also started getting the "Video Not Available" error for Apple TV on all my Roku devices. Was watching fine Friday night, January 29. Got the error starting Saturday, January 30, and ever since.

We have three TVs with Roku Ultras attached and the error occurs on all of them. From the same home network I can load episodes successfully on my iPad, iPhone, and Windows web browser so this seems particular to the Roku app. All other Roku apps/services running successfully.
Roku (9.4.0, build 4200, updated Dec 18) and Apple TV app (5.2, build 224) show updated to current versions.
