@JokerJ420 Thanks for reaching out. The Apple TV channel doesn't support all models of Roku devices and TVs. You can see the list of supported devices here: https://support.roku.com/article/360036652634-how-do-i-use-the-apple-tv-channel-on-my-roku-streaming...

Thanks for the prompt answer you rock @RokuTannerD
Who is responsible for Apple TV being available on older models? I just purchased four models of the Roku Express about a year ago thinking that they would be the latest model and good for years to come, and they do not support Apple TV. The SKU is 3900RW. One is actually still in the box because we did not end up getting rid of our cable. Is it Apple TV not making it compatible or is it something in Roku’s end?
@ellenaj8 Roku Express (model 3900 series) is supported by the Apple TV channel. https://support.roku.com/article/360036652634-how-do-i-use-the-apple-tv-channel-on-my-roku-streaming...
You should be able to install the channel by visiting Streaming channels on your Roku home screen, and searching for the channel. You can also log into your Roku user account and add the channel from the Roku channel store on the web here: https://channelstore.roku.com/details/551012/apple-tv
If you add the channel on the web, visit Settings>System>System update>Check now to perform a quick update, and sync all channels on your Roku device.
Thanks,
Tanner
Thank you! Now that you say that, I think I do have one older express model, maybe that was the one I was trying to find it on. I will check that out. Thank you very much for your response!
Is there any workaround to get Apple TV+ on an unsupported Roku TV? For instance, if I buy a Roku stick, or for that matter a streaming stick from any company that supports Apple TV, can I use that with a Roku TV Model 5106X? Thanks.
Thanks for the inquiry.
Yes, if you purchase a Roku Streaming Stick that is supported by Apple TV+, you will be able to stream on your TV assuming that your TV can support the streaming device.
For a list of Roku streaming devices that are supported by Apple TV+, visit our Support page here: Is my Roku device compatible?
