@aeischen1 @jlist12

Thanks for the post.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing?

Thanks,
Danny

That has already been and still does not resolve.

I had someone from ROKU tell me my Roku3 was very old and that was the problem and immediately directed me to purchase another.

Um, I find that hard to believe given that my Roku3 is listed as one the devices the app should be compatible with.

Anybody really know how to resolve this? Doesn’t sound like it.

@DLair

Thanks for the update.

The Roku 3 (4200) is supported by Apple TV. For more information about what devices are supported by the Apple TV channel, visit our Support page here: How do I use the Apple TV channel on my Roku® streaming device?

If removing the channel, restarting your device, and then adding the channel back again isn't resolving your issue, I'd recommend reaching out to Apple TV directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the Apple TV channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.

You can reach them here: https://support.apple.com/apple-tv

Danny

I have Roku Premiere. Apple TV worked for a few months now it either doesn't work or works for a few minutes and stops. I contacted Apple and they say it is an issue for Roku. Roku is saying its an apple issue. Where do I go from here?

This beyond unacceptable. So no access to the Dolby Atmos sound???  That's the entire reason for using an A/V input.
