I'm primarily noticing this when I'm paused on a Youtube video I'm watching. Many times I will be watching a Youtube video and I will put it on pause for a few minutes to attend to something and when I get back, "bye, bye" my paused video, hello Home Screen! Why? I want to STAY PAUSED on the video I'm watching. Thus I have to relaunch the channel, find the video I was watching, etc., etc. I don't want to be returned to the Home Screen. My other streaming devices choose not to do this to me, thus, more and more, because of this preprogrammed action by Roku, I'm less and less inclined to use it.
Thanks for the post.
This seems to be related to the channel functionality when pausing a Youtube Video. For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact Youtube support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
