Adding Britbox in South Africa

Hi

I know Britbox is available in South Africa but how do you add it to the channels?

There is no search function in the menu.

Please advise

Are you saying that the SA version of Roku does not have search in streaming channel menu? Very odd.

Britbox may not offer a Roku app in all geographies, it is Britbox choice. 

Do a search for the Roku channel addition code online, then log into Roku web account, and you can input code into add channel by code web page in Roku account, then request update on Roku device.

Not all channels/apps are available in all regions even if the service is available on other non-Roku devices.

Yes, no search function in South Africa. Very frustrating. 

Britbox has been available since 6 Aug in South Africa.

Not sure how to do what you are recommending. I will try.

Log into Roku account on web.

Then in another browser tab, go to Roku guide website. Search that site for britbox, it will have a Roku channel store web link to add britbox.  Click that.  Hope it works.

Or, in your Roku account on web there should be a option to add a channel by channel code.  Try using code "britbox" or maybe "britboxuk".  

After channel add on the web, you will need to request a device update on Roku device (settings->system->update)
