We have tried several solutions to get access to MSNBC and CNN live. However, every one, from cable tv, to sling, youtube tv, att are unreasonably expensive since we have to pay for channels we don't need. I found a new channel that would solve that problem -- livenewswatch/watchnews.pro -- but it's not available as far as I can tell through Roku. Does anybody know anything about this or another similar solution to this live news with cord-cutting problem?
They have tutorial on their webpage on how to watch on a tv using ROKU. I'm trying to find out if they are legitimate. English grammar is off. This can be red flag for a scam site.
I would like to find out the answer to this question, too. I'd like to reduce the level of service I have with AT&T Uverse, but retain access to #CNN. I guess I can add the channel Roku offers and see what's there. If they have current news and Anderson Cooper, it might be sufficient.
Someone mentioned watchnews.pro as an alternative but they were unable to use it on Roku. I have also seen watchnews.pro mentioned in other threads on here with folks wondering how to use it on Roku, which you cannot do. I access watchnews.pro using my Amazon Firestick (plugged into my Roku TV). It costs about $7 a month. I access the internet using Amazon’s Silk browser. One could also cast watchnews.pro from a smart phone using one of the casting apps I would think. I also get CNN/MSNBC, etc. on my iPhone with watchnews.pro.
