Thanks for the follow up regarding the issue you are experiencing with notification on your Roku Smart Home device.
At this time, we would recommend restarting both the Roku Smart Home devices as well as your Roku Smart Home mobile app and seeing if the issue persists.

i followed your advice and I had unplugged my camera and redownloaded the app. I was ecstatic to get a notification from my camera as I was waiting for it to reboot. However, about 3 hours later, I got a text from my brother that said he got to my house before I did… But didn’t get any notification from Roku. I checked the app and it did capture my brother entering my home, but didn’t get a notification.
Any suggestions? I have to admit I’m really disappointed this doesn’t work. The whole purpose I got a security camera is so I can be notified when someone is at my home. Someone may approach my door and see my camera and try to talk to it- expecting it to work properly and notify the homeowner. I mean, what would stop an intruder from not only breaking into my home, but also steal my camera? I wouldn’t know until I came home and saw my camera was missing and my house was broken into.
Do you know anything else I can possibly do in order for the camera to work as advertised?
