Roku camera fail to continue using sd-card once full.

Once an sd-card is full the Roku cameras advertise that they will overwrite existing recordings starting at oldest recordings. This is simply not true. The recording capability of cameras will stop functioning completely once the sd-card is full.

Re: Roku camera fail to continue using sd-card once full.

Hi, @512user.

Greetings from the Roku Community!

We appreciate you reaching out to us about the SD card on your camera. We're here to provide some information.

Please be aware that when the storage is full, the oldest files are overwritten to make room for new video clips. In this case, is there any error message showing once you access the SD card?

Furthermore, you may visit this support article on how to install a micro SD card in your Roku Smart Home camera

We hope you'll find this information helpful. Let us know if there's anything else we could further assist you.

Thanks,
The Roku Community Team
