A warm welcome here in the Roku Community, @Dh55!

We understand that you are having an issue connecting your Roku Indoor Camera 360 to the network. We're here for assistance.

Please be advised that smart home devices can't be connected to both networks and are only compatible with 2.4 GHz.

Once the internet router is connected to the 2.4 GHz network and still won't connect, we suggest you do the following steps:

  • Power cycle the camera: Unplug the camera from the power outlet. Wait for 30 seconds, then replug it back.
  • Restart your internet router: Unplug the power cable from the back of the router or gateway. Wait 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cable to the back of the router.
  • Make sure that the camera is not more than 10 ft. away from the internet router.

If the issue persists, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the app and use a different mobile device if possible.

We hope that you find this information useful. Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with.

Thank you for the response, @Dh55!

Please be advised that you need to disable the 5.0 GHz. network, as we have stated that all of the smart home devices are only compatible with 2.4 GHz. network.

Re: Roku indoor camera 360 se wont connect to WiFi network

Jump to solution

I have tried all the recommended solutions. I have a 2.4 gigahertz router that the 360 camera connects to just fine but it will not connect to the Dual Band 2.4/5 gigahertz router. My other Roku cameras connect to the dual band router just fine. Only the 360 Roku camera has a problem with the dual band router.

Are you saying the 360 camera will not connect to the 2.4 GHz Network on a dual band router? The other indoor se cameras connect to the 2.4 GHz network on the dual band router just fine

Thanks for keeping in touch, @Dh55!

Smart home devices, like the Indoor Camera 360, should connect seamlessly to the 2.4 GHz network. However, you mentioned that you're having trouble connecting to the 2.4 GHz network on a dual-band. Can you please let us know if you received any error messages while trying to connect?

We're looking forward to your response.

Best regards
Jess

No error messages just won't connect. It will connect just fine to a single band 2.4 GHz router
