Re: Camera lost connection, won't reconnect

I have two one wired outdoor camera and one indoor camera that will not connect or set up. I have one indoor camera working fine. I do not understand how or why my two others will not connect. I never hear the sound when I plug it up not before or I press the set up button.

Re: Camera lost connection, won't reconnect

Greetings, @lkgehrett!

Thanks for reaching us about having an issue setting up your camera. We'd like to know more about this.

May we know what is the status light of the camera when you plug it in? Also, have you tried plugging your camera to a different outlet?

Furthermore, you may visit this support article on understanding the status light on your Roku Smart Home device

We'll wait for your response.

Thanks,

Re: Camera lost connection, won't reconnect

Mine has the same issue.  The chime won't connect to the camera, and neither of them can connect with the app.

The status light on the camera flashes blue, and the chime flashes yellow, but they cannot connect. When I try to use the phone app yo set it up, I get the message that I need to allow bluetooth access to connect the device, but all permissions are allowed.

Re: Camera lost connection, won't reconnect

Greetings, @Onedge997.

Thanks for reaching us about having an issue setting up the doorbell. We're here to help.

Here are the steps you can try:

  1. Reset your chime by pressing and holding the Reset button on the side and listen for "Reset successfully."
  2. The LED light on the chime flashes yellow and listen for "Ready to connect."
  3. Keep your phone near your video doorbell as the Roku Smart Home app searches for your doorbell - make sure the LED light on your doorbell is flashing blue. If it’s not, press and hold the power button again on the back of the doorbell.

Furthermore, you may visit this support article on how to set up your Roku Wire-free Video Doorbell and Chime SE

If there's anything else we can do to assist you, please let us know. We're always willing to help.

Thanks,
