Unable to get chime or phone notification with motion sensing. chime only works pushing doorbell.

Please be informed that the chime only works when the doorbell is pressed, not for notifications.
Are you receiving any event recordings on your Smart Home app? Also, is this the first time you're having this issue?

Yes. Motion detection is functional and recording video works fine. However the chime only works when pushing the doorbell.

As we have said above, the doorbell only works once the doorbell is pressed. It won't make any sound once there is a motion on the camera.
