So I bought a roku doorbell camera back in December. I got a 14 day free trial and I loved it!  I am a mother of 6 so protecting my home and family is very important to me. 
Fast forward to now…I have purchased the floodlight camera as well as paid for the yearly plus subscription for all my devices. Now all of a sudden my cameras WILL NOT RECORD! They will only take a picture. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed at this point and thats a nice way of putting it. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps I have found online. Everything is up to date, turned on correctly, etc. 

WHAT IS GOING ON ROKU??? Should I just return these cameras and find another brand because this seems to be an ongoing issue. Someone please help!

I am having the same issue now and have contacted support as well. I have had Roku for almost a year and never had this issue ever.  Seems a lot of people are having this issue now

Could you please try to uninstall and re-install the app? Let's see if that would make any difference.
