Will roku wireless speakers work with roku tv and non roku soundbar?

Jump to solution

I’m interested in buying the roku wireless speakers but would like to know if I can use them in conjunction with my Yamaha sound bar that I already have plugged in to my roku tv?  I’m worried that I will buy them and they might just cancel out the sound coming from my soundbar.  I really just wanted to use them as rear speakers.

No, each takes the place of the tv speakers, only one device at a time can do that.

Ok so if I had a roku stream bar instead of my Yamaha soundbar would I be able to get sound from the stream bar and wireless speakers all at once?

@darrenfree

Thanks for the posts.

Yes, if you have a Roku Soundar/Streambar, you could use it in conjunction with you Roku Wireless Speakers.

Thanks,
