Streambar sound cuts out when using Bluray Player via Optical

Jump to solution

I got a Streambar a few weeks ago, and it is great! I love it! I had to connect it via the Optical Audio because my TV does not support HDMI ARC. Whenever I am streaming, there are no issues, but when I play Bluray or DVD discs, the sound cuts out completely for about 1/3 second every 30-60 seconds or so. It is very annoying and I hope there is an easy way to remedy it.

So when you're streaming the optical cable never comes in use, only when using a different device connected to your tv it's used. Try reseating the optical cable or try a different optical altogether?

Thank you! Yes, earlier today I realized this too, and I decided to check the connection. Turns out the speaker end was loose - you really have to push it hard to click into place. Problem solved.

Thanks!
