Sony str dh790, roku ultra player, sonance speakers 5.2

Hi,

My set up is roku ultra connecting to sony str dh790 receiver and sonance 5.1.2 ceiling speakers connected to str dh790. I am trying to play dolby 5.1 as well as dolby atmos. I am not hearing sound from surround sound and height speakers, only getting sound from front and center speakers. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Before we proceed, may we first know the model of the TV your surround speakers are connected to? We suggest directly connecting your Roku Ultra to your TV rather than to your Sony STR-DH790 Receiver. 

Furthermore, kindly visit our Support article on How to set your Roku streaming device to another sound system.
