Hi all, just wanted to post this here in case somebody else came across this problem. This concerns a Roku 3 box. Pretty old, but still works great! The problem I discovered was hooking it up to a new TV. It created a bunch of intermittent and seemingly random clicking, or popping -type noises. I tried many ways to remedy this, not wanting to believe it was my expensive HDMI cable. However, it was my expensive HDMI cable, lolz.
