I completely agree to this. I have an LG G3 Tv with the original Roku Smart Sounbar, 4 Roku surround speakers and the Roku Bass Pro. I'll be returning them. I'd gladly keep them if they had atmos support.

I love my Roku speakers. I have the soundbar pro, bass pro, and two wireless speakers and yes no Dolby ATMOS. I almost got suckered into the whole Dolby ATMOS concept which in theory is great. When it’s shown how it’s advertised it’s cool but the big secrete is you most likely never listen to the ATMOS experience and you’re just spending money to feel that excitement of purchasing that concept. I’m sure it felt great but after watching this YouTube video regarding content with ATMOS I was shocked. The individual in the video that I hope you watch. Turned off all audio functions other than ATMOS and in the new mad max Dolby ATMOS dvd which costs more than normal dvds and that sounds bars cost more than other bars has only 10 seconds of Dolby ATMOS sounds in the entire movie. After watching the video I honestly felt I was almost scammed and that ATMOS is a scam to get people to spend more money. 10 seconds of the ATMOS experience. In a 2 plus hour movie. Would I return my Roku speakers for those ten seconds. I wouldn’t. If I’m wrong and Dolby ATMOS functions are active for more than a minute in any movie then I’m open to learning. Take a watch and let me know your thoughts

Dolby Atoms can be overhyped, and your consideration of returning the Roku speakers makes sense. The YouTube video highlights the limited Dolby Atoms content, guiding your decision wisely.

@SharonMelendez that video was really eye opening. To know how marketing can make something look so much better than the reality be jarring. And so many people think  it’s amazing which maybe it would be if that’s what you get but you don’t so it’s sort of false advertising
