not allowed to go to password line when try to sign in

had been watching tennis channel plus fine for many days.  Then when went back to watch again, required me to sign in.  email address correct but would not allow me to go to password line to add it.  Only allowed to:  go back or reset password!!

Highlight the Password box and press OK on your remote.  A keyboard will be displayed where you can enter your password.

there is a lock on the password line and cannot scroll to it.  so, cannot highlight it?

Hmm... when I tried it I had never been logged in before.  There's always the usual remove, restart, reinstall procedure:

  • Remove the channel by highlighting it on the Home Screen, pressing * on your remote, and choosing "Remove channel"
  • Restart your Roku device from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (as appropriate)  Don't skip this step!
  • Once it restarts, add the channel/app again from the Channel Store, Streaming Channels, or whatever they're calling it these days
