Youtube Loading Guest Mode

My YouTube channel stopped operating. Instead, there is a screen that states"Loading guest mode", but it never actually shows a guest mode screen. I have no idea why this happened or what I can do to stop it and go back to the regular YouTube screen.

Any advice most appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.

But do you want me to attach photos to this Roku message or the email I received?? I don't see an upload link.

Please advise.

We're glad you replied!

Here's how to upload a photo here. Let me walk you through it.

  1. Tap the Camera icon on the options above the text box.
  2. You may choose the following options below:

If you choose Upload, you may Drag or select Choose files from your library. For URL, you may need to paste the URL of the photo into the space provided to upload it.
  3. Lastly, if you choose Saved Photos, you can upload photos from the Community Forum.

Re: Youtube Loading Guest Mode

Thanks for the photo, @JoeJ.

It looks like an access issue within the channel. It could be a glitch, but here's what I can suggest for you to do.

  1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  2. Restart your Roku device (Note: This should be done after removing the app): Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart Now.
  3. Reinstall the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Streaming Store and add the channel again.

Let us know if that works!
