Apparently Roku has no further solutions to this issue. YouTube on my ultra works..but not smoothly. I.E...buffering, slow loading, black screens, frozen videos etc..etc. We also have a Roku premiere in our bedroom. That device works excellent while viewing YouTube.
Hello Roku!!!..you need to fix these issues. Thank you.

Thanks for any help.
Magically my Roku ultra seems to be playing youtube videos just fine. No issues as of now. I'll see how it goes.
Thanks for keeping us posted, @bdpopeye!

I was having the same issue every time I tried to load YouTube it just went blank and I had to hit the Home button to go back. I deleted the YouTube app, restarted my Roku TV, then reinstalled YouTube and it worked. I had to sign into my YouTube account and everything is working fine so far.
My Roku sometimes..usually once or twice a day will have no sound on YouTube. If I turn the TV off and on that usually fixes that issue. Another issue is buffering on YouTube. Very annoying. These issues only happen on the YouTube app. So what I do is use the playlet app. No issues there. None.
@John1000 ....... Not sure if this will help, but if you have an unused 32G microSD available, insert it, let the system format it, then see if it allows YouTube to load. I've had the issue of YouTube not launching due to storage constraints. Now with a microSD card, no issues ...... Couldn't hurt to try.
