That answer works if you want to return to a live program in progress, it also works if you want to return to the start of a recorded show. But it DOES NOT WORK if you are watching a previously recorded show, and then go to the channel guide to check out what's playing live, and then want to return to your recorded show at the same place you left it. Even if you pause the recording before you go to the guide. The only thing you can do is to return to the START of your recording.
Unless there is some other secret way of doing this, I'm quite disatisfied.
If anybody knows how to do it, I would appreciate a reply.
