Why doesn’t CBS open on my Roku?

CBS channel doesn’t open on my Roku. Any suggestions how to fix this?  I e already reset the device, remove the channel and reloaded, reset network connection. Nothing works.

Thanks for getting in touch and for trying to fix this. Sometimes, a playback problem might be because of a network issue or due to an outage with a specific channel.

To ensure a successful process, follow the steps below, and make sure to restart your Roku device before adding the channel again.

  • Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press the Star button to open the options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  • Restart your Roku device: Restart the device from the settings menu. Go to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
  • Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

For additional troubleshooting, you can check our support page here: How to resolve a channel playback issue.

If the issue persists after the troubleshooting, we recommend contacting the channel team directly for additional help. Channels on Roku are handled directly by the channel providers themselves.
