Vudu starts up and takes over

So I restarted my Roku and Vudu launched automatically.

Now no buttons work and I can't even get Vudu to do anything.

Do you have a Vudu button on your remote?  Is it stuck?

Re: Vudu starts up and takes over

Sigh. No it's not stuck.

I've restarted 4 times. Every time it goes straight to Vudu.

Once I was able to get to the settings menu and check the current version. Then it went straight to Vudu.

Ok, try this.  Take the batteries out of your remote and leave them out.  Unplug the power from the Roku and plug it back in.  Does it still go to Vudu?

Re: Vudu starts up and takes over

Did you try what @renojim suggested?  The idea there is to eliminate the possibility that a broken remote keeps sending the "launch VUDU" command over and over.

Banned but back. Because why not?
