Sound cutting out and also playback of video slows down and video and sound go slow motion

We are having issue with our sound cutting out period ally and most noticeable is that the video and sound will slow down and move in slow motion and the sound (voices) are slow motion.  I have checked connections and internet speeds and done connectivity checks and it tells me all is fine.  We don't have this issue with our other Roku player just the one with the soundbar.

Welcome to the Roku Community. 

We'd like to know more about the issue you are running into. What Roku device model do you have? If that is not a Roku soundbar, could you try to unplug the soundbar and see if you still see the issue? Does the issue only occur on a specific channel or all channels on your Roku device?
