Same Roku Account on 2 TVs watch different channels?

Jump to solution

I'm thinking about dumping Comcast and setting up Roku on 3 tv's around the house. What would the charges be and what equipment would I need. Thanks.

Hi @Doninhoutx,

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community!

We understand that you would like to know if you can stream different channels from multiple devices that are linked to one Roku account. Yes, you can. The purpose of linking them to just one account is to make sure that you won't be double-billed for any subscription that you sign up for.

If you need help linking your Roku to your email, you can visit this Support article: How do I activate or link my Roku® streaming device?

If you are looking for the best Roku devices that will fit your taste, you can visit our Roku website here: Roku products

We hope this helps.

All the best,

I have two TVs(HISENSE and TCL) and I want to be able to switch the content on TV. Like CNN on one and ESPN on the other TV

@IRISHJAYHAWK13 Not sure if I understand you question but you can watch different channels on the TVs linked to the same Roku account.  All that linking the TVs to the same Roku account does is have the same apps available on the two TVs.  For example if you add Netflix to the home screen on one TV, Netflix will be added to the homescreen on the other TV.  You can watch Netflix on one TV and ESPN on the other TV.
