Thanks for the post.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more. 

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted what you find out and we will be able to assist you further.

Had the same problem, tried your solution, worked for one episode and then it went right back to skipping.  I was watching Great American Pureflix and it works just fine on my laptop.

im having this same issue but it will jump to episode 17 and then go back to 12 but I’m supposed to be on episode 6
