I just set up my Roku and the Roku channel. And now none of the channels on there want to work. I have set up my subscription there is supposed to be a 7 day free trial and i can not get anything on there to play
Subscription to what? The Roku Channel and most of its content is free. There is some premium content from providers like Paramount+ and Peacock among many others that require individual subscriptions. It's also not available everywhere and things like using a VPN will cause problems.
