Re: Remove "Live TV" tile from a Roku Ultra (v12.0.0 build 4184-46)

No, I want to specifically tag each person you feel that I've slighted, so they will come here and read my apology!  That will also allow them to thank you for bringing the matter to light!

Still waiting...

@djkdlhsfjk4489 @AvsGunnar @FrequencyBebop @JDnTX @Tljames9 @kiki3 @billwinz

I'm copying all who were affected, as I was just able to remove the "Live TV" tile from my Roku Streaming Stick+. I rebooted the device and confirmed the icon did not reappear.

So, if you're still interested in removing it, maybe give it a try and see if it works for you.

Re: Remove "Live TV" tile from a Roku Ultra (v12.0.0 build 4184-46)

I have the same issue on my Express 4K+.  None of the solutions here work anymore as of version 12.5.5 - build 4174-e4. They have disabled the "*" to access the channel options (INCLUDING being able to move it to the bottom of your channel list), and it is no longer able to be removed from within settings either. Also the "Don't Auto Install Updates" option in settings > Software Update has been removed. All that is there now is "Check now."

In short, none of the solutions here are available as of 29 Jan 2024
