Orange screen whenever I watch a video/movie on YouTube or Netflix

Jump to solution

When this happened I was just on YouTube going through a regular ad and then it loaded for a second, then boom the video was an orange screen, including the video I was watching after the ad. I tried unplugging the whole tv but it’s still there when I click on a video or movie. Every app is fine and looks completely normal, until I click a video on YouTube, or Netflix, the screen goes orange with some lines. I can still click on other videos and like scroll and the covers will be completely fine, along with the buttons like skip or whatever. The orange screen is just the video. That was what got me worried. I’m panicking and I’m not sure what to do. This has never happened to me before. Everything is fine and I can click on stuff but whatever video on any app I click the video is orange.. I need help with this asap. I saw another post that perfectly described what is going on with my tv that was posted in 2021. I tried doing what the helpful people in the replies said but it didn’t really work, unless I did it wrong. My model is a 3700X Roku Express. The software version is 12.0.0, sorry if I said something wrong. I’m not good with tv stuff. If anyone could help me with this it would be a huge help. If I get this figured out before anyone replies I’ll reply to myself so no one wasted their time fixing my idiot mind.
