Why do they only post Democratic commercials?
Start with who is they? Ie: what channels are you watching? The channels I watch on Roku don’t have commercials, so one obvious answer to try some others.
But if you do watch commercial TV, then the advertiser is the customer, (you are “the product”) and whoever shows up with money gets their commercial shown. There used to be a thing called “The Fairness Doctrine” in the US that required balanced coverage of controversial issues, but I don’t think that included commercials, and it ended in 1987. (If it still existed, it probably wouldn’t have been updated yet to cover streaming, just like many other old broadcast TV rules.)
Perhaps you’d like to buy some commercial slots?
Because Anthony Wood has giant thumbs with which he clumsily tries to alter the scales.
The other reply tries to explain the legal technicality that permits him to do so. The only other entity that advertises less than the democratic party on Roku's "live" channels is Roku themselves. Again, another tech billionaire putting his thumbs on the scales.
PS. For 20 years the Democrats cried foul against the removal of the fairness doctrine. It's rather disingenuous to invoke it now.
