Netflix movie not playing

So I have an odd problem I was attempting to watch Godzilla -1 on Netflix last night but unfortunately I was unable to. The only thing that was showing was a bell icon reminding me about the movie but I can still watch it on my Amazon fire stick so I'm wondering what the issue is. I tried talking to Netflix about it but it seems to be a Roku issue not a Netflix issue.

Re: Netflix movie not playing

We're grateful to have you here in the Roku Community, @Racdragon!

Thanks for reaching out. We'd be happy to provide further information regarding the availability of this certain content inside the Netflix app.

Since this is an isolated case involving the Netflix app exclusively, we strongly advise that you contact their Support team for further assistance and clarification.

Please be advised that the majority of content on the Roku platform comes from streaming channels maintained and updated independently by the channel's provider. This movie seems like it will be available soon on Netflix which is why there is a bell icon showing.

However, we still encourage you to coordinate this with their Support team for further clarification as Roku simply hosts the channel on the platform and does not have direct management control over it.

You may reach them here: Netflix Support

We hope you find this information helpful.

Warm regards,
Carly
