My apps won’t work on my Roku TV

my Roku channel app won’t work, and my other apps aren’t really great either. Not sure if I just should take my TV back. Any help would be helpful. I have no HDMI cords connected. also can download certain apps for my TV.

  • Do you have a Roku Branded TV or a Roku TV? A Roku Branded TV is a TV that is manufactured by Roku (Roku TV Select and Roku TV Plus) while a Roku TV is a TV that is manufactured by a Roku Partner (TCL, Sharp, etc).
  • Is this the first time you set up/activated this Roku TV? If NOT, is this the first time you have experienced this issue?
  • Is your Roku TV, currently connected to your network?
  • What do you see on your screen when you’re trying to play content? Any error message?
