Why did the Universal Crime channel take off Kojak and Columbo? Is that channel only going to be showing Homicide Life on the Street? Is Kojak and Columbo going to be showing again on that channel sometime? If not then why can't we have these two shows added for channels like gunsmoke and Little House on the prairie they have their own channels.
The content available will come and go as licensing expires. (content only available for a certain licensed duration and the license grantor may also only offer it for a limited time to different services).
I see that Colombo was also removed from Tubi and that both Colombo and Kojak are now being offered through pay services like Amazon, AppleTV, and Peacock.
As a general rule, changes like this occur around the beginning of a new month.
I agree with you. I’m tired of ROKU and Universal ruining the programming for viewers that like classic tv shows. Universal Monsters channel was ruined in October 2024 with they added 8 hours of the Munsters and newer horror movies instead of class Universal monster movies and now they ruined the Universal Crime channel by showing Homicide: Life on the Streets 24 hours a day and not showing any other shows. No one asked for these changes!!! Leave our classic programming alone!!! The sad part is mo one at ROKU or Universal seems to care at all!!!!
Tubi now has Kojak on demand if that helps. I'm not feeling this all day Homicide programming.
