Is there a way to create a channel shortcut WITHIN a channel?
For example, I can watch "Hallmark" movies within Peacock (I'm a Peacock subscriber). I want to create a shortcut to THAT Hallmark channel/Hallmark programs.
If I try to add the regular Hallmark Movie channel shortcut, I am asked to login to Hallmark (for which I do not subscribe). So, that doesn't work.
The same can be said for wanting to create a "Smithsonian" channel shortcut from within Paramount+ (I am a Parmount+ subscriber).
IS THIS POSSIBLE? If not, it would sure be a nice feature.
The developer of the channel/app would have to provide such a thing.
Thank you. That makes sense.
However, it would sure be nice if someday Roku could allow the user to create a custom shortcut to anywhere; similar to how you can create a shortcut to a specific web page within a specific website. Wishful thinking, I know.
I echo that: ability to create our own shortcuts to our viewing habits.
I subscribe to some Roku channels but it is a burden to always open up the Roku channel to view them. OR my other subscriptions like Paramount + with Showtime.
