How do I log out an existing MAX account on Roku?

Jump to solution

Hello,

My stepson logged into his father's Max app account. All profiles are locked. How do I log out of that account so that I can log back into mine? Or is a factory reset (last resort) in my future?

Thank you,

Jeremy

Very close. It is now just a vertical menu under settings, and "Sign Out" is at the bottom.

Another option would be to uninstall Max, reboot, then reinstall.

 @acyclinggeek -

Sign in/out methods vary from channel app to channel app.

I don't have MAX to check but I found this on the web.  It still said "HBO Max" so it's possible the menus are now different:

  • Open the MAX app on your Roku
  • On the left side of the screen, click the Settings (gear) icon in lower left corner.
  • Select Sign Out on the top menu.
  • Click Sign Out button
