Directv Stream not launching appropriately on any Roku device

I have a combination of Roku sticks and TCL TVs with native Roku and Directv Stream App. New to Directv Stream with flawless performance for first month. Yesterday, all Roku devices required Directv credentials to sign-in when launching the app. Correct credentials are entered and the result is constantly flickering Directv logo. Directv stream works on newer Samsung tv without Roku.

Re: Directv Stream not launching appropriately on any Roku device

Hi @cb621

Thanks for reaching out to the Roku Community.

Try removing the channel, restarting the Roku device, and then signing in once more to the channel to see if it helps. Make sure to restart your Roku device before adding the channel back again to ensure a clean channel install.

We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.

If the issue is only with the channel alone, this is a good indication that there is likely an issue within that specific channel that will need to be addressed with an update from the channel publisher. Channels on Roku are created and maintained by each channel publisher. In this case, you'll want to reach out to Direct TV support directly to share your feedback.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Nimfa
