Channel won’t load and returns to home

Jump to solution

History channel app won’t load.  It immediately goes back to the home page.  I don’t seem to have other problems.  I have deleted and reinstalled it several times.

Thanks for reporting this, @micheeymouse!

You mentioned you have already removed and reinstalled the app. Just to double-check, have you also tried restarting the device after removing it?

To make sure no steps are left undone, follow these troubleshooting steps below:

  1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  2. Restart your Roku device (this is an Important step after removing the app😞 Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart Now.
  3. Reinstall the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Streaming Store and add the channel again.

Let us know if that works!
