Hi fellow Roku peeps!
This seems like a stupid question, but here goes. I keep discovering content that's listed as being available on AMC+Roku Channels(in a singular icon).
Despite being subscribed to AMC+ and the Roku Channel app, all links lead me to start a new subscription for that content. Do I really need a different, separate subscription for that? The content is not available at all on AMC+ but when I search it on my Roku Channel TV app, it gives the same subscription prompt.
Here's an example of a movie with that platform suggested

Thank you guys in advance.
Generally speaking, any "subscription "x" on the Roku Channel" means that it is a 'Roku Pay' subscription. (pay Roku instead of the subscription provider directly, and manage your subscriptions through the Roku account). https://support.roku.com/article/208756478
The content available is determined by the provider. They are supposed to be the same. I have used a few subscriptions through Roku Pay (Hallmark, Britbox, Acorn, Mhz, ViaPlay) and have not had an issue, but many users have run into issues with some of the more popular ones like Paramount and AMC+ with content disparities and availability. (usually the Roku Pay subscription is the one that does not have the content available).
Just need to keep in mind that sometimes the Search Results are wrong (on both Roku and online sources like Just Watch, Reelgood, TVGuide). If the content is unavailable on AMC+, I would just assume it would not be available on AMC+ on the Roku Channel.
However, that being said, I do have Prime Video, and it is showing Troy as available on AMC+. Perhaps try launching your AMC+ app again and look for it under the Search as well as any categories like "leaving soon" or "recently added". (may just be missing from your search results but is available somewhere in the library categories. I don't have AMC+ so unfamiliar with the app layout.

Thank you, this made some sense. I've re-downloaded AMC, no changes in available content.
When searching Troy on IMDB, I see they list it as available on AMC+ Prime Video Channels, no mention of Roku.
Appreciate you taking the time to reply.
