I’m using a Roku stream bar (sound bar) which I purchased exactly a year ago. Having the problem on that. Is that not a current model?

I'm still in contact with TC's tech support through FreshDesk.  They've escalated the issue and I'm awaiting a reply.  I've asked which players are known to work.  I'm not sure how many iterations of Streambar are out there.  If I can get specifics on which models are known to work, I'll post them in this thread.

OK, here's the deal according to TC's tech folks.  The best I could get them to commit to was a "[based on the currently available updates, these models work best]" as far as Roku players go.  They are:

-Roku Express (latest models)

-Roku Ultra

-Roku Premiere+

Premiere+ are not currently available on roku.com, but the Express and Ultra are.  I asked about the currently available Stick and Streambar models, but they did not specifically recommend them.  I think it's worth considering that app and platform development teams are constantly addressing compatibility issues and pushing updates.  However, they have to pick their battles.  TC subscribers who own older/certain Roku players (I own 6) may not draw a lot of water, so to speak.

They did reiterate what Customer Service told me over-the-phone which was that Fire TV Stick and Apple TV devices "generally" are not experiencing this audio sync issue on live broadcasts.  Of course, one of them could always push an update that results in more or less devices working properly.  Getting everything to work properly across all these platforms is always an ongoing process.

For my part, I'm impressed with Tennis Channel's phone and online support and will probably return as subscriber once I pick up a couple of new Roku's.

Same here, so frustrating, obvioulsy problem lies with Tennis Channel.  App works fine on laptop/phone, but not on ROKU.  Both TV's have this issue, so it is not the TV.  All other channels on ROKU work fine, so IT IS A PROBLEM WITH THE TENNIS CHANNEL!!!!  Please fix this!!!   Have written to TC several times.

It seems Tennis Channel does not care! Either does Roku. Tennis channel is on their platform on my Roku.. I should not have to go buy New Rokus for the tennis channel..Thats ludicrous!!! Perhaps they are in Cohoots together...!!! Complaints should be had perhaps on BBB or consumer complaints in your state...BAD BUSINESS BY BOTH!! TO SAY THE LEAST!!!

Yes it's very annoying.  If you hit the fast-forward button on the remote a couple of times that will re-sync it but it's annoying that you have to keep doing that every so often.

I have the same issue. If ROKU can't fix the problem, recommend switching from ROKU to Amazon Firestick. The Firestick doesn't have the audio/video sync problem with the Tennis Channel.

It’s almost a year later and the audio-video syncing problem still persists when using the Roku Tennis Channel app.  What’s the story?
