combine all roku devices to 1 account

We purchased 2 roku devices together and created an account. A few months later we purchased another roku devise. ( streaming stick) it is not on the same account. I would like to joint all 3 to the same account. Not quite sure how to do that.

Re: combine all roku devices to 1 account

@robright

Pick the account you want as the Primary. The other is now the Old.

Go to the the Roku Website and log in with the Old account. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Unlink all devices there. Log out of the Website.

Log in to the Primary account.

On the Old Roku device/devices, use the menu system to do a Factory Reset.

As they boot up, follow the instruction to connect them to your Roku account. Follow the instructions carefully, and use the Primary email address when asked.

Once complete, all of your Roku devices are now on the same account.

Note that they will all have the same apps. If you add to one, it will add to all others. If you remove from one, it will remove from all others.

Oh, and follow the setup instructions carefully. If you already have all the apps you want, be sure to uncheck anything on the Web page during setup. Be sure you scroll all the way down as well.

Re: combine all roku devices to 1 account

Hey @robright, like @DBDukes mentioned, if you are wanting to have all 3 devices on the same account, you will need to log out of the one account that's different by factory resetting that Roku device, and when setting it back up log in with the same account as the other two Roku devices. Below we have included some steps that should help you with this process.

How to view email associated with Roku device:

    1. On the Roku device, Select the home button then choose "System"

    2. Select "Settings"

    3. Select "About"

The email associated with your account should be displayed at the top of the screen.

How to factory reset your device:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Advanced system settings
  5. Select Factory reset
  6. If you have a Roku TV, select Factory reset everything. Otherwise, move to the next step.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions

This should allow you to then log in to your third device with the same account as the other two. Of course, if you run into any trouble or need any further assistance, give us a shout. We're happy to help!
