Why was I charged 8.99 for a subscription I had already canceled

Why was I charged for $8.99 this month when I canceled my subscription of amc+a while back. It shows I paid for it but I try to watch it and it says you have to subscribe. So I would like to know what is going on with that it must be a rip off .Do not continue to take out of my bank account. How did you get my new card number because I haven't purchased anything.

Did you subscribe through Roku? Or did you subscribe directly to AMC?

If through Roku, when you go to https://my.roku.com/ and click on Manage your subscriptions do you see an active subscription?
