So my tv was stolen does anyone know how or if i can lock my tv up so that they need a code to get into it or code to reset it and use it ?
The tv will no longer be able to connect to your account or any of the information stored there.

I want it still liked so they know its mine the police sre looking fir it i jus want tmake the tv locked up like pinned up so nobody can use my tv
If it's linked to your account it will be fully functional, but only when it's connected to your home network. There's no way I know of to prevent using the mechanical reset button to do a factory reset, and once that's been done it can be set up from scratch to be used on a different account.
I don't know if there is anything Roku can do from their end if you supply them with your account information, model and serial number. You could send a private message to @RokuDanny-R to find out. Click on his name to bring up his profile, then click the purple "Sent this user a private message" button.
Thanks for the inquiry.
We would recommend performing the steps that @makaiguy mentioned in his first post to prevent any unwanted charges to your Roku account by a user.
Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to prevent the use of your TV while it is linked to your Roku account.
Thanks,
Danny
@RokuDanny-R is there anyway Roku support can provide me the serial number for my stolen tv so that I can get it to the police?
Thanks for the inquiry.
You should be able to log into your Roku account online at my.roku.com and scroll to the bottom of the page and see all of the linked devices to your Roku account and their respective serial numbers.
Thanks,
Danny
@RokuDanny-R I checked that but the serial number on my other device isn’t the same that’s listed. So I’m not sure....
Thanks for the follow up.
All of the serial numbers linked to your Roku account should be visible in your account. If you do not see the appropriate Roku device/TV that you are looking for, then it's possible that the Roku device/TV is no longer linked to your Roku account thus you will be unable to see the serial number.
Thanks,
Danny
